From Palm Beach Island to Jupiter Island, we understand what it takes to keep vessels performing in South Florida’s warm, biofouling-rich waters. Marine Services in Palm Beach, FL

Our Palm Beach County dive team provides a full range of underwater and waterfront maintenance services for yachts, sportfishing boats, sailing vessels, and commercial craft throughout the area:

Hull Cleaning: Regular underwater hull cleaning removes barnacles, slime, and biofouling before marine growth increases drag and fuel costs. Essential in Palm Beach County’s year-round warm waters.

Cavitation Cleaning: Non-abrasive ultrasonic cleaning for hulls, propellers, and running gear. Removes growth without damaging your antifouling coating or polluting the surrounding water.

Zinc Anode Replacement: We inspect and replace zinc anodes on every applicable service, protecting your vessel from galvanic corrosion in Palm Beach County’s electrically active marina environments.

Dock Cleaning: Professional cleaning for docks, finger piers, and dock hardware to maintain appearance, prevent deterioration, and protect your waterfront investment.

Piling Cleaning: Marine growth on pilings accelerates wood rot and structural damage. We keep your pilings clean and extend their lifespan with regular maintenance.

Seawall Cleaning: Algae, barnacles, and biofouling buildup on seawalls can conceal cracks and accelerate erosion. Our seawall cleaning service keeps your structure visible and protected.

Lift Cleaning: Boat lift frames and bunks accumulate growth and corrosion quickly in South Florida’s saltwater environment. We clean and inspect lifts throughout Palm Beach County’s waterfront communities.

Why Palm Beach Yacht Owners Choose Barnacle King

Palm Beach County’s warm, clear waters are among the most biologically active on the East Coast. Barnacles, slime, and algae attach quickly in these conditions, and left unchecked they drive up fuel costs, degrade coatings, and put unnecessary strain on running gear.

Barnacle King was built specifically for this environment. Our Palm Beach County dive team uses ultrasonic cavitation technology and non-abrasive methods that protect your hull’s antifouling coating while delivering a thorough clean every time.

We also support transient yachts arriving for seasonal events and vessels preparing to depart for Peanut Island, the Bahamas, or extended offshore passages. Whether you keep your vessel at Rybovich Superyacht Marina, Admirals Cove, or a private dock on Jupiter Island, our team tailors every service to the demands of Palm Beach County’s elite boating environment.

Every service includes:

✓ Real-time GPS diver tracking

✓ Post-clean photos and a written dive report

✓ On-time guarantee: if we don’t confirm within 30 minutes, your first clean is free

Barnacle King is Palm Beach County’s trusted marine maintenance team. We always answer your call, arrive on time, and always deliver a documented, professional result.

Contact us today to request a free quote for hull cleaning, cavitation cleaning, or any underwater dive service in Palm Beach or anywhere in Palm Beach County.

Palm Beach boats mostly clean on a four-week cycle, which we handle on a recurring Hull Protection Plan so a charter schedule never waits on a quote. Marinas and clubs here want a certificate of insurance on file first, and ours is explained on the hull cleaning insurance page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you cover both Palm Beach and West Palm Beach?

Yes, we treat them as one service area. Palm Beach and West Palm Beach sit across Lake Worth Lagoon from each other on the same Intracoastal corridor, with the same current and the same debris moving through Palm Beach Inlet. Our divers reach a marina on the West Palm side as readily as a private dock on the island, and we cover North Palm Beach, Singer Island and Jupiter as well.

How much does hull cleaning cost in Palm Beach?

Our standard retail rate is a $220 flat fee for vessels under 40 ft, then $5.50 per foot from 40 to 69 ft, $6.00 per foot from 70 to 99 ft, and $6.50 per foot at 100 ft and over. A 45 ft sportfish works out to about $247.50 per cleaning. Condition and access can change a quote. Full detail is on our hull cleaning prices page.

How often should a hull be cleaned in Lake Worth Lagoon?

Four weeks suits most boats here. Bare gel coat with no bottom paint fouls fast and needs cleaning every 10 days to two weeks. Sportfishing boats that run offshore regularly stay cleaner between visits than boats that sit at the dock all week, so we set the interval to how the boat is actually used rather than to a default.

Can you work around a charter or sportfishing schedule?

Yes, and it is worth telling us your departure time rather than just your location when you book. Time on the water is the product for a charter operation, so we schedule around trips rather than through them. For anything urgent we run 24 hours a day, including weekends and holidays, which is when most of the Palm Beach fleet is actually working.

Do you service private residential docks?

Yes. Private docks on the Intracoastal side of Palm Beach and North Palm Beach are handled the same way as slips at Sailfish Marina or Rybovich. Boats kept on a lift run on a longer cycle, usually around every six months, and we clean docks, pilings and seawalls on the same visit when a property needs it.

Are you insured, and can you send a certificate of insurance to my marina?

Yes, on request and usually the same business day. We carry $3,000,000 in total per-occurrence liability, which is $1M/$2M general liability plus a $2M umbrella, along with Ship Repairers Legal Liability covering damage to the vessels we work on, and workers compensation and USL&H on every diver. Ship Repairers Legal Liability is the one most in-water contractors do not carry.

What do I get after each cleaning?

After-photos with every invoice, taken by trained divers on professional underwater camera equipment, a written dive report you can hand to a captain or an insurer, and a live GPS tracking link so you know when the crew arrives. Your card stays on file and is charged only after the work is done and documented.
