Most hull cleaning companies in South Florida will not put a number on their website. You call, you describe your boat, you wait for a quote. We would rather you knew before you picked up the phone.

These are our retail rates per cleaning, by vessel length.

Hull cleaning rates

Vessel Retail rate
Under 40 ft $220 flat rate
40 to 69 ft $5.50 per foot
70 to 99 ft $6.00 per foot
100 ft and over $6.50 per foot
200 ft and over $8.00 per foot
Catamarans under 70 ft $5.75 per foot
Catamarans over 70 ft $6.25 per foot

Catamarans carry a modest premium because two hulls, two sets of running gear and the bridgedeck are significantly more surface area than a monohull of the same length.

What that works out to

The same rates apply on a plan

Recurring plans are billed at these same per-cleaning rates. There is no plan discount, and we would rather say so plainly than imply one.

What a plan buys is that it happens without you managing it: automated scheduling, text notifications, a live GPS tracking link for every job, after-photos and a dive report with every invoice. You are paying for reliability and documentation, not a lower number.

What the interval does affect is everything around the cleaning. A hull on a regular schedule only ever needs a light pass. A hull left through a South Florida summer becomes heavy growth: slower to clean, harder on bottom paint, and costing you fuel and speed every day it sits. Bottom paint is the expensive thing to replace, not the cleaning.

When you pay

We charge after the cleaning is done, never before.

Clients on a recurring plan keep a card on file, and it is charged automatically once the work is complete. There is no invoice to open, no approval to give and no payment to remember, but nothing is charged until the service has actually been performed and documented.

The one exception is also the only discount we offer: prepay for 6 or 12 cleanings and we will build a custom discounted protection plan priced to your vessel and interval. It is quoted individually. Ask about it when you call.

What can change a quote

The rates above are our standard retail pricing. A quote confirms final cost, and can vary with growth level at first cleaning, bottom paint condition, and access at your slip. If your vessel has not been cleaned in some time, tell us. A first-clean is usually a bigger job than the maintenance cleanings that follow.
