Richard, our founder, discovered his love for the underwater world at the University of Miami. After earning his SSI Advanced Open Water certification in 2011, he dove headfirst into underwater photography and fine art printmaking, eventually graduating with a Bachelor’s in Fine Art Underwater Photography. With over 300 logged dives, Richard’s passion for the ocean is as deep as the sea itself. Combining his artistic eye with a knack for e-commerce, Richard launched Barnacle King, blending art with industry to create a service that keeps your yacht at its peak.
