Every Barnacle King client gets a login to our customer portal. It is where your service history lives, so you are not digging through email to find out when your hull was last cleaned or what you were charged for it.
What you can see in it
- Your full job history. Every visit we have made to your vessel or property, with dates, so the maintenance record is in one place rather than scattered across inboxes and text threads.
- Invoices and payment records. What was done, what it cost, and what has been paid, going back through the life of the account.
- Your account details, including the vessels and properties on your account and the schedule each one runs on.
After-photos are delivered with every invoice, taken by trained divers on professional underwater camera equipment, so the visual record travels with the billing record.
Why we bother with this
Two reasons, and neither is technology for its own sake.
The first is proof. Underwater work is the easiest service in the world to fake, because the client cannot see it. A documented history that you control, rather than one we describe to you, is the difference between trusting a contractor and verifying one.
The second is resale and insurance. A continuous maintenance record on a vessel is worth real money when you sell it, and it is the first thing an adjuster asks for after an incident. Owners who have that history assembled are in a materially better position than owners who have to reconstruct it.
Getting access
If you are an existing client and have not set up your login yet, or cannot get in, call (954) 256-1440 and we will get you sorted. If you are not a client yet, the portal comes with the account. Most vessels can be set up on a recurring Hull Protection Plan on the first visit, and the record starts from there.
Boards and property managers: for a condo association or marina, the same record covers pilings, ladders, seawalls, docks and lifts across the whole property. See condo association services for how that is structured.
